Equipement de tamisage et de contrôle de résistance automatique
Automatic screening and strength testing system (ASST)
The automatic screening and strength testing machine is used for fully automatic grain size analysis and determination of the impact resistance of sinter, coke and other dry bulk materials.
Operating Behaviour & Mechanical Characteristics
As a first step, the material to be analysed is fed into a screening machine that fractionates it into various grain sizes. For this purpose the screening machine is fitted with a screen stack. After fractionation the screens are removed singly from a handling unit, weighed and emptied. The quantity of material required for the strength-test tumbler is collected proportionately from the fractions required and fed to the testing tumbler, which has been swung into the filling position.
When the tumbling procedure has finished, the strength-test tumbler is swung into the emptying position and emptied as it turns. The tumbled material is once more fed into the screening machine. After fractionation of the material the screens are once more removed from the handling unit, weighed and emptied.
Once emptied, the screens are temporarily put to one side and, after the screen panel has been emptied, are once again stacked up on the screening machine and automatically fastened.
