One of the strong points of our special centrifuges, e.g. the multi-stage pusher centrifuges of hygienic design, are applications in direct dewatering of foodstuff. Examples are edible mushrooms, onions and also potato products in the convenience food sector.
In the dairy industry and there in particular in the field of lactose dewatering for the production of baby food SIEBTECHNIK centrifuges are representing for over 60 years the worldwide state of the art.
All over the world our customers are using in lactose production for baby food the proven CONTURBEX and increasingly also our SHORTBOWL decanters most successfully for whey separation. SHORTBOWL decanters and CONTURBEX must meet the highest hygienic demands in this field and, therefore, these two machine types must be cleaned completely per CIP and are USDA certified if required.
